Role Purpose
You will be working with our team of personal finance writers and the Head of Regional Content (Americas) to execute regional content strategies, monitor day-to-day workflows, and edit our Spanish-language content while providing feedback and support to writers.
What you will be doing?
Things move fast at nudge, and we are always learning. This means we need to stay agile meaning the responsibilities of a role are never set in stone.
Responsibilities
- Supporting content strategy, including monitoring day-to-day workflows and resources for BAU activities, providing updates and escalating delays or gaps to Head of Content
- Monitoring content quality
- Communicating with writers. Liaising with writers to ensure they understand and create output consistent with content team and wider organisational strategy Liaising with writers to understand country-specific nuances
- Participating in the recruitment process, reviewing applications and interviewing candidates.
- Onboarding new hires and ensuring their understanding of BAU processes
- Facilitating multiple formats and projects by coordinating with PAs and other team members as necessary
- Performing edits and final review of Spanish-language and English-language content
- Executing on content takeovers such as budget announcements and ‘one-off’ projects
- Managing the content inventories and ongoing maintenance of financial education
- Providing feedback to Head of Content on AI and other software applications, when their use is permitted
Skills and experience
To help you do all this, you will need:
- Editorial experience as a writer and/or editor
- Management experience
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with experience creating content in both languages
- Knowledge of LATAM personal finance issues, specifically in some or all of the following: Colombia, Uruguay, Ecuador, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina, Costa Rica, Chile, Peru, and/or the Dominican Republic
- Comfortable working within complex workflows, have a highly organized and meticulous approach to workflow management
- Experience collaborating with a wide range of different personalities on a global team
- Experience of using a CMS, Monday.com, Slack, AI tools
